A grouping of counties just west of the DFW metroplex have been placed under a Winter Weather Advisory for snow until 1pm this afternoon…Young, Jack, Stephens, Palo Pinto, Parker, Eastland, Erath, Hood, Somervell and Comanche.  Snowfall, quickly accumulating between 1 and 2 inches may cause travel hazards across this region over the next several hours.  Reduced visibility, down to 1/4 mile or less, may be encountered within the heavier bands of snowfall.  Slow down and take extra precautions driving in this area over the next few hours!
