As promised we’ve seen temperatures quickly warm up this afternoon and the snow has mainly melted away. This morning’s upper level low, which I’ll affectionately term as a troll, has now moved into Louisiana leaving Texas with a pretty nice afternoon. We did have several folks report decent snow accumulations from this morning’s snow. The upper low ended up tracking further south than expected so portions of Central into East Texas ended up with the highest snow accumulations. Here’s a list of the reported snow totals as of 3:30 PM CST. We may see some additional sites added later on as additional reports are processed. Longview ended up the big winner with 4 to 6 inches of snow measured with 7 inches in Domino, TX in Cass County.
