Roads will remain slick and hazardous across the D/FW Metroplex tonight. We now have areas of light snow and freezing rain causing additional light accumulations on top of what fell earlier today. In addition the Austin Metro has freezing drizzle which has turned some roads into skating rinks. Roads across the Panhandle, West Texas, Big Country, Northwest Texas, North Texas, and even parts of Central Texas are slick and hazardous tonight. If your area is below freezing and you’re receiving precipitation I highly recommend putting off your travels until we get above freezing on Saturday. We’ll see precipitation continue all night and into the morning hours on Saturday.
