I’ve recorded a brief video explaining the current situation and what we’re expecting through the morning rush hour. I’m anticipating a fairly decent snow event to unfold across North and Northeast Texas as the atmosphere quickly cools by 5 AM. Once that occurs we’ll likely see a pretty quick changeover to snow across North Texas including the D/FW Metroplex. Widespread snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches will be possible with locally higher amounts from the D/FW Metroplex northeast into Northeast Texas up Interstate 30. There is the potential for travel issues in the morning rush hour with snow-covered bridges and slushy roads.
