The Winter Weather Advisories for Dallas, Rockwall, Collin, Fannin, Grayson, Ellis, Bell, Coryell, Hill and McLennan counties has been discontinued.  No winter weather hazards are expected to impact residents in these counties today.  Winter Weather Advisories remain in place for Cooke, Denton, Parker, Tarrant, Hood, Somervell, Johnson, Hamilton, Bosque, and Lampasas until 3pm.  Here light ice and sleet accumulations could impact elevated surfaces and roadways through the rest of this morning and into the early afternoon hours before temperatures begin to rise above 32 degrees.  Winter Storm Warnings remain in place for Montague, Young, Jack, Wise, Stephens, Palo Pinto, Eastland, Erath, Comanche and Mills counties until 3pm today.  Here, temperatures are expected to remain at or below freezing for most of the day and additional freezing rain/ sleet will result in additional icy accumulations of up to 1/3 inch.  Travel is strongly discouraged today for residents in the Winter Storm Warned counties.
