Tornado Warning: Harris, Montgomery, Liberty Counties till 845AM

Tornado warning has been expanded into northwestern Liberty, southeastern Montgomery, north-central Harris county until 845AM. Rotation indicated about 4 miles northeast of Spring. Moving northeast at 20 MPH. This storm has a history of producing quick, brief spin up tornadoes with wind damage. Spring, The Woodlands, Oak Ridge North, Shenandoah, Splendora, Patton Village, Woodloch, Porter Heights, Splashtown and Chateau Woods are included in this warning.

was located over Splashtown, or over Spring, moving northeast at 20
mph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile
home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and
protect yourself from flying debris.

Motorists should not take shelter under highway overpasses. If you
cannot safely drive away from the tornado, as a last resort, either
park your vehicle and stay put, or abandon your vehicle and lie down
in a low lying area and protect yourself from flying debris.
