Tornado Warning: Eastern Johnson County till 830PM

Tornado Warning extended into northeastern Johnson County from Venus north to just south of Mansfield. This storm is moving north toward Pleasant Point and Lillian at around 20 MPH. Should this potential tornado continue a new warning may be required for southeastern Tarrant county by 8:25 PM. Those in southeastern Tarrant county should watch this storm carefully and be ready to act if a tornado warning is issued.

Northeastern Johnson County in north central Texas…

* Until 830 PM CST

* At 802 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located just north of highway 67 between Alvarado and
Venus. CASA radar indicates that this circulation will approach
Pleasant Point and Lillian over the next few minutes.

HAZARD…Tornado.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
