4:15AM Cold Front & Storm Update

2016-10-20_4-15-03

Scattered storms continue to impact North Texas, the Big Country, and the Concho Valley. These storms are generally moving to the east and are not severe. That said some of the storms are making quite a ruckus this morning. These storms are being produced by a southward moving cold front. The good news is it will feel much nicer later today as drier air moves in from the north. As for the cold front it’ll continue to move south today into much of Texas. Behind the front winds will become northerly and drier air will move in. It won’t be an immediate cool off, but humidity values will drop throughout the day. High temperatures north of the front should top out in the 70s. We’ll have a more detailed forecast in our usual morning weather roundup around 6:30 AM.
