- The previously severe thunderstorm that impacted the D/FW Metroplex is now moving east into southeast Collin and Rockwall counties. This storm is weakening and is no longer severe. It may produce small hail, 40 MPH winds, and brief heavy rain as it continues to move east. It may dissipate by 10 PM.
- Isolated thunderstorms have developed over Palo Pinto and Parker counties. These storms are not severe but may contain small hail as they move east/northeast. Its not clear if they’ll make it into D/FW but its not out of the question.
- A severe thunderstorm with 60 MPH winds is approaching Interstate 45 from Richland south to Teague to Koose. This line segment is moving east at 45 MPH and will impact Fairfield in the next 25 minutes.
- A line of strong storms extends from near McGregory to Fort Hood to near Burnet. This line si moving east towards Temple. Small hail and gusty winds up to 50 MPH may occur. Its not out of the question that this storm tries to become marginally severe.
- Strong storms extend from west of San Saba to Brady to near Christoval. These storms are slowly moving east and have been transient severe with large hail and localized damaging wind gusts.
- The overall severe weather threat is slowly coming down this evening. The weakening trend should continue as activity moves east through the late evening hours.
