Jacket Weather for Friday Night Lights

Good Morning and welcome to what should be one of the nicest Friday’s we’ve seen for the past several months. The arrival of October coincided with the arrival of a strong fall cold front. You’ll definitely notice much lower humidity today across most of Texas. High temperatures will not get out of the 60s across the Texas Panhandle today. 70s can be expected across West Texas, Northwest Texas, North Texas, and Northeast Texas. Thats right folks – the D/FW Metroplex will probably top out at 79 to 81 degrees today. East Texas and Southeast Texas will enjoy comfortable temperatures in the low to mid 80s. The Permian Basin, South Texas, and the Rio Grande Valley will be hot today with 90s – but with noticeably lower humidity values.
