A beautiful Wednesday is shaping up with sunny skies and light north winds. Temperatures will remain a bit below average today with high temperatures ranging from 70 to 77 degrees. With relatively dry air remaining in place with a north flow it’s going to be a comfortable day.

No precipitation is expected today and clouds will be a rarity as well. For those folks needing to dry out today will be a welcome sight. Enjoy the nice weather because we’re only days away from May. Next week is looking potentially stormy across the southern United States. With any sort of storm system in May we could very well have the potential of some strong to severe storms.

That’s next week though and until then we’re going to have a period of nice weather. We sure need it after the storms we’ve dealt with over the past week. I know personally I have close to 100 GB of video and photos I still have to go through and edit. In fact I just had to order a 5 TB hard drive because my previous ones are filing up. Thus is the life of a storm chaser in April and May.
