We have released a new Daily Weather Video. You can watch it here:
Temperatures tonight will cool into the 20s in West Texas and the Panhandle, 30s in North and Central Texas, and 40s and 50s further south. Skies will be clearing from west to east overnight with clouds confined to Northeast Texas by sunrise Wednesday. Don’t forget that any slush or melted snow left on roadways in the Panhandle will freeze tonight. Travel conditions will be hazardous on Interstate 40, Interstate 27, and Highway 287 in the Panhandle.
Wednesday will be a mostly clear day across the state. High temperatures will climb into the 60s along and south of Interstate 10. Temperatures across the North and Central parts of Texas will be in the 50s. Further north, snow cover in the Panhandle will keep temperatures down in the 30s and 40s. Where a snow cover remains, temperatures will struggle to climb above the mid 30s.
Temperatures on Wednesday night will be similar to those tonight. West Texas will see low temperatures in the 20s, those in North and Central Texas will see 30s, and 40s across Southeast and South Texas.
We’ll see a warm up on Friday as winds switch back around to the south. Looks like many folks will warm back up into the 60s and 70s.
